Tax-Deductible? Setup Fee Savings Municipal Subsidy

1. Is My CBP Subscription Tax-Deductible?

In most cases, yes. A Contractors Bid Prep subscription is generally deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense under IRC Section 162 — the same way you'd deduct any professional service or software subscription used to run your contracting business.

Every contractor's tax situation is different. We recommend you consult your tax professional to confirm how this applies to you. This page is general information, not tax advice.

2. Save on Setup Fees

Setup fees for our Silver and Gold plans are routinely waived for qualifying contractors. If you're enrolling and want to find out whether you qualify, just mention it at enrollment — there's no harm in asking.

3. Municipal Subsidy Program

Municipalities and economic development authorities (EDAs) can sponsor Bronze-tier access for local contractors at a group rate, helping more local trade contractors compete for public work.

This program is coming soon. Check back for details, or email us if you represent a municipality or EDA interested in sponsoring local contractors.
